We had a lovely short stay with family, it would have been better staying at Sandbach in summer
Positive: It was a lovely quiet place, the beach was beautiful.
Negative: Sadly for us it was a little out of Whakatane, would have preferred staying a bit closer - was a long way for a coffee, so maybe a coffee machine and a note to bring coffee. Didn't like the oven, I think in summer the BBQ would have been used alot.

Oh The Serenity
Had a wonderful stay at Sandbach. Very quiet and amazing bird life. The house had everything we needed, and some. It was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of books and games to fill in a wet day and the beach was only two minutes away. Loved our stay and we're going back and for longer next time. Thoroughly recommend.
